Phil is proud to be a Heath Hayes and Wimblebury Parish Council. He has deep roots in our community, having moved to Cannock Chase from Walsall over 40 years ago. He was first elected as a Parish Councillor in 2019. He also served as a County Councillor, after being elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2021 until May this year. Phil was deputy Chairman for two years and served as Chairman of the County Council for the final two years of his term.
With over 40 years of experience in various sales management roles at a major drugs company, Phil retired early in 2018 and was able to focus on being a Councillor and serving the community.
Phil also worked with young people starting a youth football club as well helping at church youth clubs for many years. On the personal side, Phil is married to Adrienne, who is District Councillor. Both are proud parents to two children and have five grandchildren. Family life is important to both of them.
